The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has announced a notable change for the 2024 renewal of exemptions to charge in foreign currency. Starting this year, applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of US$5,000 or its cedi equivalent to facilitate the renewal process. This fee, designed to cover administrative costs, signifies the BoG’s commitment to enhancing financial processes.
